Meyers, formerly known as Yank Station, is a small unincorporated community about 10 minutes away from central South Lake Tahoe. Originally this area served as a Pony Express station. The neighborhood is located at an elevation of 6,352 feet, and is one of the first neighborhoods you may encounter on your way into South Lake from Sacramento. The quaint town of Meyers is a short distance from South Lake Tahoe. Approximately 3,000 residents enjoy this quiet community.
