Country Club Estates in South Lake Tahoe, CA got its name due to its close proximity to two local public golf courses, Lake Tahoe Golf Course and Tahoe Paradise Golf Course. Many of the streets throughout the area keep up with the golf theme. The top of the ridge offers pristine mountain views.

This area is commonly known by two different names, Country Club Estates and Elks Club.
